Ski
Arpa will be offering guided backcountry tours into the
remote Valle La Honda. Tours will consist of one cat ride
to Punto Guanaco, the highest point of Ski Arpa. From there
the group will hike along the scenic ridgeline between Valle
La Honda and Valle San Francisco with amazing views of the
High Andes, and the Aconcagua. From the ridge they will
ski down into the vast La Honda valley. The tour will continue
up to Alto Del Arpa peak. Once there, the marquee run of
Avanlanchas will be skied down to the Refugio Avalanchas.
The
tour will be a full days worth of skiing and hiking through
the amazing El Arpa/La Honda area. Either touring skis with
skins or snowshoes will be required. Ski Arpa will provide
all the backcountry safety gear required. The price consists
of one cat ride, and a guide to keep you safe and find the
best snow for you to ski.
